How do I convert a scanned PDF to an editable PDF?
Mike Richards provided one answer. If you are going to do a lot of OCR conversion, that’s a good solution. There are also free readers — scan the web. In a pinch, you can print it and re-scan it with the searchable PDF option set to true. Kurzweil has an OCR (not cheap) but is probably the best commercial solution.

You could also scan the screen with whatever you prefer but keep in mind that it might be less readable on screen. The more complicated the site is the more important your scans are — if you can be bothered to do the scans correctly. Some sites offer free scanning for a small fee.
